The BC Health Coalition recently launched Better Care for Seniors Campaign to improve and expand publicly funded home support, and end for-profit long-term care. The campaign is aimed at the following goal: “The health care system must cover comprehensive care for all stages of life. We need a continuum of care that allows seniors to live independently at home for as long as possible and provides a person-centered model of residential care that respects the dignity and rights of seniors.”
As part of this campaign, they are asking supporters to sign up to receive a postcard from them where the supporters can share their story and concerns directly with the Minister of Health.
Action on your part:
- Supporters can register to receive a physical postcard at BetterCareForSeniors.ca
- The physical postcard is to be mailed to Minister Adrian Dix until last week of July
The BC Health Coalition also needs your help in Promoting this action by sharing it with your members and network.
