The South Vancouver Seniors Hub Council welcomes Kathi Thompson to the dedicated team of older adult volunteers. Kathi was born and raised in Vancouver, she describes herself as a goal-driven leader with over 30 years of experience and a track record of success in strategic communications and marketing, sponsorships, community relations, public affairs and government relations in the business sector and not-for-profit associations. One of the highlights of her career was being a keynote speaker at the Conference Board of Canada’s Corporate Social Responsibility Conference. A strong communicator, relationship builder and facilitator with a passion for business and community development, she has provided numerous presentations on community investment and the value of stakeholder relations to not-for-profits and businesses.
