New Caregiver Support Group for South Vancouver
Family or friend caregivers may be juggling work, family members, friend, and/or neighbours. The main goal of this group is to create a viable and sustainable support team for unpaid caregivers in South Vancouver - to help caregivers take some time for themselves.
Join this group to meet other caregivers, share life experiences, and build your own strong, positive and supportive network. Each monthly session involves informative discussions on various caregiver challenges as well as fun and exciting group activities. Light refreshments will be provided, and bus tickets are available if needed.
Held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month
From 12:30pm-2:30pm
South Vancouver Neighbourhood House - in Rec Room
Cost is free with SVNH membership

Our Adult Day Programs provide specialized service for frail seniors and adults with physical or cognitive challenges who live independently in the community by themselves or with a caregiver.
Using a person-centered approach, we are committed to enriching the lives of our participants and supporting their caregivers. We facilitate medical and therapeutic programming which reflects individual needs, interests and abilities and provides participants with opportunities to connect with others and contribute to our community.
The programs rely on volunteers to help provide quality programming. If you are an interested student or volunteer, please contact us.

Adult Day Centre – Beulah Gardens
This day program assists seniors to live independently and provides respite for caregivers. Participants are provided with transportation, medical supervision, outings, activities, breakfast, lunch, snacks and take-home meals.
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm

Cost: Nominal fee to cover meals, transportation and program costs.
